The outlook for European home prices in 2021 is mixed, with the delayed effect of the coronavirus pandemic on Spain and this plus Brexit in the UK and Ireland having a particular impact, Fitch Ratings says. We forecast meaningful declines in nominal prices in these markets, smaller falls in Italy, stabilisation in France and the Netherlands, and modest increases in Denmark and Germany.
